We are not a hotel, a restaurant or an agency. We are a catalogue - a place where venues (hotels, guesthouses, chateaux, restaurants, conference centres) present their spaces and where seekers find the right one and send a non-binding inquiry.
KonferencniProstory.info is a marketplace. We own nothing ourselves - we just connect.
Hotels, restaurants, chateaux, conference centres. They register in our administration, add their halls, capacities, photos and prices. They respond to inquiries.
Companies, agencies, private individuals. They browse the catalogue and filter by capacity and region. They send an inquiry to a specific venue - or a public one to everyone in a given region.
We run the platform, verify venues, deliver inquiries and take care of data quality. We do not organise events ourselves - that is up to the venues and the seekers.
In 2014, as an event agency, we manually sourced dozens of venues all over the country. Excel, PDF brochures, phone calls. The result was a spreadsheet of 320 venues with notes - what they offer, what they cost, how they communicate.
When more colleagues from other agencies started asking about the spreadsheet, we realised the market was missing a tool like this. We launched KonferencniProstory.info in January 2015 as the first curated catalogue of conference spaces in the Czech Republic.
Today there are 14 of us, we have a catalogue of over 850 venues, our own rating system and an administration where venues manage their own spaces. We deliver inquiries to venues without delay.
For seekers the service is completely free. Venues pay only for membership in the catalogue - no hidden commissions from completed events.
Every venue in the catalogue has passed our approval. We verify the details, capacities and photographs. What is not verified does not make it into the catalogue.
Once you send an inquiry, you communicate directly with the venue. We do not enter the negotiation - we leave room for a direct relationship.
For seekers, both searching and inquiring are free. Venues manage their halls in our administration and respond to incoming inquiries.
